Quarterly Meeting Information
Purpose
The White Pine County Nuclear Waste
Advisory Board was established by a
County ordinance to assist the White
Pine County Commission in evaluating the
potential impacts to the County and its
residents should nuclear waste be
transported through White Pine County to
the proposed Yucca Mountain Nuclear
Waste Repository.
Membership
The Nuclear Waste Advisory Board
consists of representatives from various
governmental entities as well as
representatives from the general
population of the County.
